Hunter Wayne Bergo, 10, of Chatfield, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, in an ATV accident near his home.

He was born Nov. 30, 2005,  in Brainerd to Ryker Bergo and Cheryl Klein.  

He was in the fourth grade class at Lanesboro Elementary School. He was loving, kind, considerate, sensitive, funny, brilliant, creative and cared about everyone. He always made sure everyone felt happy and welcome no matter where he was or whom he was around. He loved helping out at home and was the best big brother in the world. He was very active and loved to hunt, fish, play basketball, ride his dirt bike, play with his dog, Ginger, and wrestle. He always loved to joke around with his friends and family.  

He is survived by his parents, Ryker and Lena Bergo, of Pilot Mound and Cheryl and Matt Zeller of Kenyon; brothers, Zeke Bergo and Quadyn Kettner; stepsiblings Haley Zeller, Makayla Zeller and Megan Zeller; paternal grandparents, Doreen Bergo of Wykoff and Wayne Bergo of Lanesboro; maternal grandparents, Kaye and Bridg Moreland of Polk City, Iowa, Brad and Antge Klein of Salt Lake City, Utah and Ann and Leigh Grobarchik of West Allis, Wis.

A funeral service will be held for Hunter at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, at the Lanesboro High School with the Rev. Aaron Wagner of Bear Creek Christian Church officiating. A committal service will follow at Pilot Mound Lutheran Cemetery in rural Chatfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Lanesboro High School in Lanesboro and one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
