Duane A. Klegseth, 70, of Oak Grove, Minn., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy from Aug. 28, 1961, through Aug. 27, 1965, and was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

On May 12, 1984, Duane was united in marriage to Sally Felton.

He was a life member of Coon Rapids VFW Post 9625, a member of United Auto Workers Local 683 and worked for 41 years, 9 months for FMC/BAE Systems.

His passions included camping and riding his motorcycle, as well as watching game shows and sitcoms. He enjoyed potato chips, popcorn, chocolate, and gourmet coffees.

He will be remembered as an avid fan of all sports, especially the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings. He loved spending time with his daughter and grandkids. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Sally; a daughter, Christy Johnson; seven grandchildren; and a sister- in-law, Lenny Felton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
